About us
Four decades
of experience
Channeline has been providing bespoke structural glass reinforced plastic (GRP) lining systems since the early 1980s, during which time we have accumulated unrivaled engineering and manufacturing experience for both circular and non-circular buried infrastructure worldwide.
Our unique technology means we can create systems in any shape and any size, for the trenchless rehabilitation of sewers, tunnels, culverts, stormwater and other buried structures.
Water Research Centre
The Water Research Centre (WRc) was commissioned by the UK Government to undertake an intensive research program on materials and methods of design for the structural rehabilitation of sewers. Channeline design consultants worked in cooperation with the WRc to test and evaluate structural segmental and one-piece polymeric lining systems for large diameter and non-circular systems.
Channeline founded
In 1984 WRc published the Sewerage Rehabilitation Design Manual, and at the same time the Channeline design consultants formed the manufacturing company.
Headquartered in the Middle East
Channeline was acquired by Anticorrosion Protective Systems and moved our headquarters and manufacturing to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Making history with multi-segmental liners
Our first-ever multi-segmental pipe project, a two-piece flattened eliptical, was installed in the UK.
Largest diameter project
Our largest diameter project to date, a 4.9m (16ft) diameter liner, made possible using our four-piece multi-segmental liner, was installed successfully in Detroit, USA.
